Stretching to Relieve Chronic Pain and Prevent Injury

Please wear loose fitting (or stretchy) clothing. Yoga mats will be provided.
This workshop will cover:
1) A set of 12 stretches that take just 10 minutes a day that will help prevent injuries, keep your whole body more limber and healthy, and lessen chronic pain
2) targeted stretches to counteract common positions that we engage in for long periods (sitting for example)
3) a set of 3 everyday relaxation poses/exercises that will help you "undo" to rebalance and restore your body after a long of day of work, workouts, and all that stuff you "do"
4) different methods of stretching and how to find which works best for your body, and even for individual muscles (hint: some of your muscles will respond better to one type of stretching than another and that will be different from person to person and even from day to day for you alone)
